1 Scope of application and purpose
YBT series mine explosion-proof axial flow local ventilator (hereinafter referred to as ventilator) is applicable to underground coal mines containing explosive gas mixture (methane). It can be used for local ventilation in lines with AC 50Hz and voltage of 380V or 660V, and also for ventilation of tunnels and large buildings.
The ventilator shall be able to operate reliably under the following conditions:
A. The altitude shall not exceed 1000m;
B. Ambient air temperature is - 20 ºC -+50 ºC;
C. The relative humidity of ambient air is not more than 95% (at 25 ºC);
D. Underground coal mine with explosive (methane) gas mixture in the air;
E. In a place without significant shaking and shock vibration;
F. In an environment without corrosive metals and gases or vapors that damage

4 Structure Overview
4.1 The structural form of this series of fans is mine flameproof axial flow type. The fan comprises six parts: a suction fan, impeller, motor, explosion-proof junction box, body, and deflector. The body and structure are welded with steel plates: the motor and impeller are directly connected, and the transmission is reliable; The whole machine has a simple and compact structure, strong and durable, safe to use, and convenient for maintenance.
4.2 The motor is a YBF series mining flameproof two-pole three-phase asynchronous motor with a voltage grade of 380/660V. The base of the motor is welded with the body, and the air flow conveyed by the motor impeller is directly cooled.
4.3 The ventilator flange is welded with grounding bolts for direct grounding on site.
4.4 On the flange of the outlet duct, evenly distributed holes are drilled for connecting the reducing nipple or direct gum duct. When connecting the fan and the plastic air duct with the reducing nipple, the type of the reducing nipple can be made into the
Convergent type or diffusion type.
4.5 The junction box of the motor is placed outside the machine body to facilitate wiring. There are only six wiring terminals and one grounding terminal on the junction box of the ventilator. The wiring mode is shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. The user selects the wiring mode according to the power supply voltage requirements.

5 Installation and precautions
5.1 Inspection before installation:
5.1.1 Whether the assembly is correct;
5.1.2 Whether the solid parts are firm and whether the spring washers are complete.
5.2 The insulation resistance of winding to ground shall not be less than 2 megohms when measured with a 500V megohmmeter.
5.3 Check in detail whether the data on the fan nameplate is consistent with the actual needs. Pay special attention to whether the power supply voltage is constant.
5.4 Check whether all conductive points are in good condition without rust.
5.5 Select cables according to relevant regulations. For example, a U-type flameproof sheathed cable must be used for wiring in coal mines. Attention shall be paid when wiring. Suppose the outer diameter of the selected cable does not match the inner diameter of the rubber sealing ring produced by the manufacturer in the lead-in device. In that case, the user shall select another one according to the cable size.
5.6 Install protective grounding according to regulations: underground coal mines must be carried out according to the detailed rules for installation, inspection, and measurement of protective grounding devices.
5.7 Check whether the control equipment and protection device can meet the requirements.
5.8 The ventilator shall be tested before formal operation. Before the power supply is not connected, the fan impeller shall be rotated to check whether there is jamming, and then the power supply shall be connected to check whether the rotation direction is correct and whether there is abnormal sound, vibration, rubbing, and other phenomena. Only when everything is normal can it be used.
5.9 When the fan is used in the coal mine, the selection, use, and maintenance of the fan and its supporting switches, cables, protective devices, and other facilities must comply with the relevant provisions of the Coal Mine Safety Regulations.
6 Maintenance and repair
6.1 During use, check the condition frequently. No foreign matter shall be placed or hung at the air inlet. The protective grille of the fan air inlet shall not be used when it is damaged. When used underground in coal mines, when the explosion-proof property is damaged, it shall be treated or replaced immediately and shall not be used again.
6.2 If abnormal noise occurs during the operation of the ventilating it shall be stopped immediately for inspection and removal.
6.3 The bearing temperature shall not exceed 95 ºC, and the sound shall be normal. The bearing shall be inspected if it is overheated or the sound is abnormal. If it is found that the bearing is damaged, it shall be replaced immediately. Under normal circumstances, the lubricating oil should be replaced every three months, and the amount of oil should be 2/3 of the net volume of the bearing chamber. Excessive or insufficient oil will cause overheating of the bearing.
6.4 In order to ensure the normal operation of the ventilator, regular maintenance is required. Generally, minor maintenance should be carried out every six months, and major maintenance should be carried out once a year.
6.5 The terminal block and rubber sealing ring are vulnerable parts, and users should pay attention to them when disassembling.
6.6 When assembling and disassembling the ventilator, pay attention to protecting the flameproof surface. During assembly, the flameproof surface shall be coated with 204-1 replacement antirust oil. All flameproof surfaces shall be free of damage and rust, otherwise, the explosion-proof performance will be lost and safe operation cannot be guaranteed. If there is damage or corrosion, repair or replace it.
6.7 When not in use, the ventilator shall be placed in a ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture, corrosion, and other damage.
